Currently accepted Insurances for New Patients

The payer names listed below are those payers our office is currently accepting for NEW PATIENTS for their primary coverage.

Be aware that it is the responsibility of the patient to confirm that Dr. Wood and this office are in their specific plan network. Our office is unable to determine this for you. If you have questions about participation and/or coverage, you should be able to determine this through your payer's website, calling the number on the back of your insurance ID card, or, if you have an employer sponsored plan, by speaking to someone in your employer's Human Resources department.

Patients who have a secondary insurance need to contact our office to discuss whether or not we are able to bill your secondary.

We are unable to bill tertiary insurance.

MICHIGAN MEDICAID

Our panel for Medicaid is currently full.

Therefore, we are not accepting new patients with primary Medicaid at this time. (effective January 1, 2025)

This includes all managed care plans, straight Medicaid, as well as Children's Special Healthcare Services.

We are accepting new patients with primary commercial insurance and secondary Medicaid plans, however, the secondary insurance will not be accepted. (This means that all copays, coinsurance, and deductibles will be due at the visit.)

(NOTE: Current patients will be grandfathered provided no changes are made to their primary or secondary [Medicaid] insurance plans.)
